See why spring's the perfect time to knock over these projects (and why you should tackle some of them before it's too late)!

Dear enthusiast,

People build houses all year round, but perhaps because renovation and home improvement projects tend to be smaller and manageable (and a bit more hands on for the more intrepid) we try to squeeze them all into the warmer, holiday-heavy months at the end of the year. No massive surprise there - but because we're all trying to do the same thing at the same time, the competition really heats up for professional services and tradespeople too... who unfortunately for the rest of us, also seem to enjoy taking holidays.

We've thrown together eight things you're far better off doing (or even just arranging) in spring in our feature story this week - feel free to share your own!
