It seems like a good idea to inspect your foundations ever so often just to make sure you never miss out having to restump! A good idea would be to leave a hatch in the storage room where you can inspect some of your supports.
I find that so few of the new generation kids are bothering to cook their meals anymore. I frankly think it's not so much about not knowing how to stock up food in storage at home, but more about the ease of finding food outside of the home! These days, you turn a corner and there's good food at a restaurant right there.

If you don't have a storage shed of your own when you're working on your new build, you can probably rent a portable storage unit or storage container to hold all of your tools and materials. Better that you do too, you never know how the weather might turn down here right?
If you're blessed to be able to decide how big your kitchen is going to be, planning storage actually isn't going to be all that difficult. Generally I see that most kitchens have at least one wall dedicated to cabinetry and storage. And you can never have too much counter space for prep work. Your appliances can go under there on in an island even!
So much to think about regarding a simple water storage tank in your home! Looks like I've got a lot of reading up to do before I decide on which one will be the most suitable for my home!
It's amazing how much technology goes into the humble water storage unit in your home isn't it? Just when you think all you need to do is hook it up to your water supply you realise that there's so much more to it!
