Signify launches WiZ HDMI Sync Box

Signify has launched the WiZ HDMI Sync Box with TV backlight for users to sync lights to home entertainment.

The Gradient Light Bars and Gradient Floor Light will match the colours to the TV screen corresponding to the physical location to create a lighting experience after being configured in the WiZ app.

By connecting the Sync box to a HDMI media device and attaching the LED strip to the back of a TV, the lights can sync with the colours and brightness of the TV screen. It supports HDMI 2.0 and video formats up to 4K at 60Hz with HDR10+/Dolby Vision.

It features a three side segmented RGBIC light strip for easy mounting on the back of a TV and the HDMI sync box offers two different sizes, fitting TV’s from 55” to 65”, and from 75” to 85”.

The four preset sync modes are cinematic, vibrant, relaxation, rhythmic and customisable brightness and colour saturation and intensity. The HDMI Sync Box works with any WiZ colour-capable light that supports both WiFi and Bluetooth. It also has a built-in microphone to capture audio playing from any source while the lights change colours and brightness with music.

Users can also set the auto-switching feature in the app so their TV sync lights will turn on and start syncing automatically whenever the HDMI media source provides a signal.

“Our new TV sync and vibrant smart lighting solutions allow users to transform any room into their personalised cinematic paradise,” Wiz Connected business leader Maikel Klomp says.

“With intuitive controls and seamless integration, we empower everyone to enjoy the magic of smart lighting, making every viewing experience unforgettable.”

Each Gradient Light Bar can be controlled individually and features a multicoloured segment to display multiple colours simultaneously. The bars come with various mounting brackets to allow placement horizontally or vertically on counters, desks or fixed behind TVs and monitors.

The Gradient Floor Light has a multicoloured segment design and a wide beam angle while its slim and minimalistic design fits into any area. It features a one-piece design for seamless plug-and-play functionality and no assembly is required.

It has 16 million colours and ready-to-use preset modes such as Party, Fireplace and Ocean to set the mood for any occasion. They’re compatible with Matter so the light bars can be controlled with Alexa, Google Home and Apple HomeKit.

The light bars and floor light can sync colours with video and music, a sync box is required.
