Designers in France have recently come up with an unusual idea which will allow people to use a wall, or a small part of a wall, to control electronic fittings. The paint, developed by French inventors Nicolas Triboulot , Laurent Grapin and Thibault Thomas, can be easily applied using a roller or a brush to any wooden, wall surface, and then attached to a circuit via a relatively simple electronic mechanism.
The system works underneath wallpaper or other wall coverings, and can be used to control lighting, heating and cooling, and electrical appliances.
