Top 50 Rooms winners announced

The winners of the 2019 Australian House & Garden Top 50 Rooms have been announced with eleven finely crafted entries wowing the judges.

Now in its 21st year, the awards honour the best examples of residential architecture and interior design, showcasing some of the most spectacular rooms in Australia. It commends creativity, innovation and expertise in design.

More than 100 rooms were entered in the competition this year, from charming Mediterranean-inspired kitchens to a magical outdoor room of mirrors to create the illusion of endless greenery.

Australian House & Garden editor Tanya Buchanan says: “The jury recognised new directions in interior design in these projects, including the clever use of raw materials, a love of simplicity and restrained approach to design. We are truly honoured to showcase the very best rooms in Australia.”
