Beaumont Tiles is set to establish a strong retail presence in Western Australia, with the company opening four new stores by the end of the year to cater to the renovation and new build demand in the state.

With research undertaken for Beaumont Tiles showing 16% of WA households intend to undertake home tiling project in the next six to 12 months, Beaumonts will officially open its first store in Joondalup on 5 August, followed by stores in Mandurah, Midland and Myaree in the coming months.

Beaumont Tiles chief executive officer Danny Casey says that while Beaumonts previously had a presence in WA through its Builders Selection Centre to serve big builders, the opening of the new retail stores would provide West Australians with the most extensive tile range and an outstanding bathroomware range and hard flooring options that the rest of the country has access to.

“The entry of Beaumonts into WA will provide homeowners with a new experience when they are undertaking a new build or a renovation, given the breadth of products we offer and the expertise we provide to help them with their dream home,” he says.

“The experience will be unlike anything consumers have had up to now, with the offer of styling consultations and innovative technology, such as our BeVisual Visualiser and an exclusive What’s My Style quiz designed to help make the process easier.

He says since introducing their Builders Selection store for tradies in 2022, there has been an increase in demand for Beaumont Tiles to open in the state from builders looking to take advantage of unparalleled and extensive quality products and sector know-how.

He adds: “Our decision to expand our presence in the state to include retail stores has been a natural evolution in how we support all areas of the building sector in WA.”

Mr Casey says the new stores in WA have a larger footprint than the current showroom format and will feature a new fit-out style designed to enhance the renovation experience for retail customers, the trade and renovators.

Always looking for ways to make things better for its customers, he says the new store at Joondalup plans to bring a more spacious and comfortable feel that we will eventually roll out across the country.

“It will offer an immersive experience with trending bathroom settings, product displays, a café, and a play table, allowing customers to create flat lays and different tile designs to style their homes. We aim to make the customer experience as seamless as possible, whether in our stores or online, with digital design tools like the What’s My Style quiz or Be Visual Live,” he says.

In addition to these tools, and working with our objective of being a one stop shop, Beaumont Tiles will also offer complete bathroom packages to provide homeowners with a more effortless way to get their renovation started.

“These include custom-designed packages by interior experts such as Shaynna Blaze and packages inspired by Block contestants’ designs, including one from WA’s resident blockheads Ronnie and Georgia,” he says.

“At Beaumont Tiles, we are looking forward to bringing a new building experience to Western Australia that helps get their renovations started with our innovative store experience and broad hard flooring, bathroom ware and tile offering.”

The move by Beaumonts into WA will see 40 new jobs created, in roles including sales, interior design, warehousing and logistics and management.
