This is the time of year when the smell of fresh paint starts wafting down every street in the suburbs across Australia. I don't really get it - I'm told it's a seasonal thing and obviously it has something to do with the weather improving... Either way, if you're one of the countless many looking to paint at the moment it's probably a good idea to spend a short while to understand what's likely to look good(!)
