How to fix a leaking tap
Most of the time, if a tap in your home is leaky, dripping or hard to close it's the result of a broken washer. While it's possible that your leaking tap's a 'washerless' tap (i.e. one with a ball, cartridge or ceramic disc mechanism - see the 'Types of taps' article linked below), it's a lot less likely that these taps will be leaking like this. You can usually tell if you have a ceramic disc type tap because it'll only need a quarter or half turn to fully open the tap.

Wing walls
While not strictly vents in their own right, strategically placed wing walls or similar mechanisms can make a big difference to the way that air is directed into a house.
Wind turbine maintenance
Since keeping the blades turning freely is what gives turbines power, you'll want to ensure that yours is as clean and efficient as possible. Good maintenance and regular inspection will definitely help with this.
Gabled pergolas
Gabled pergolas feature a ridged or peaked roof, and are recognisable for their triangular shape. Gabled pergolas are attractive, and allow for good water runoff and extra height.
