Make a splash with a Tank Wall

22 August 2019

Tank Walls are a stylish alternative to water tanks.

Energy efficiency and sustainability are big buzz words in building that are here to stay. Leaving aside the benefits to the environment, embracing sustainable practices is also more cost efficient for the home owner.

One such measure is rainwater harvesting and QLD company Taylex has hit upon a clever method for doing so, without compromising the aesthetics of your garden which is where many people run aground on this issue – a convention water tank takes up space and looks ugly, especially if it’s in a smaller space.

Tank Walls are a three-in-one solution – they are pre-engineered concrete slabs that act as a retaining wall, can store rainwater, and include a space on top for the owner to use as a garden bed, a water feature, a walkway or timber deck, a stone bed and whatever else you can dream up!

The tanks come in three sizes – 1m, 1.25m, and 1.5m and retain 1,314, 1,845 and 2,365 litres of water respectively. They can easily link together to create more storage space as well as form different layouts in a garden space.
