‘Modern Aussie Resort’ or Dream Home 5 by designers Oak and Orange is a coastal inspired custom-designed family home situated on half an acre in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, New South Wales.
Featuring all the elements of resort style living, Modern Aussie showcases how different textures and materials can be used to achieve a contemporary design that makes you feel on holiday, every day.
The impressive alfresco and pool area is an entertainer’s delight, including multiple seating and dining areas and an integrated BBQ system complete with a built-in bar fridge.
DECO Australia’s new 25x25mm QuickClickTM battens were installed around the BBQ to create a statement piece for the outdoor living space. Oak and Orange choose DECO’s aluminium batten system, DecoBattenTM, as it offered a fast and flawless solution with minimal wastage.
The DecoWood Super DurableTM Natural Casuarina finish selected by Oak and Orange offered all the benefits of a marine grade and UV resistant finish that was perfect for an outdoor entertaining area. Being powder-coated solid aluminium, the battens offer a low maintenance solution that requires no painting, staining, or oiling – the ideal solution for relaxed, resort-style living.
