75 year old Pete Burford from Gloucestershire, England recently had a huge surprise when he found ET’s face in a piece of firewood.
“It’s probably just one of those things in the tree, but it so looks like E.T. I couldn’t believe it.” The piece of wood bears an uncanny likeness to the well-known Hollywood alien, who came to prominence in the 1982 blockbuster of the same name, which starred Henry Thomas as Elliot and Drew Barrymore as his sister, Gertie.
The find is reminiscent of many others of a similar nature, with people often claiming to have found likenesses of religous figures or icons in objects ranging from clouds to pieces of toast.
When asked if he believed whether aliens exist, Mr Burford said “I think there’s something.”
