The JDSU EDT-135 E1 and Data Tester displays clear results via alarm and error status LEDs on a large screen providing rapid evaluation of circuits. As a result, minimum training is needed for technicians to carry out both framed and unframed tests on a wide range of equipment.
The JDSU EDT-135 is used for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of digital networks, E1, data-com and V.24 modem circuits and multiplexers. With a full set of physical layer tests for E1 balanced and unbalanced circuits including BERT, VF, round trip delay and signal level, the JDSU EDT-135 provides standard options for Quality of Service (QoS) measurements to ITU-T G.821, G.826, and M.2100 recommendations.
