Austral Bricks launches Nubrik Chapel Red pressed red brick range.
Austral Bricks has announced the return of its pressed red brick range with the Nubrik Chapel Red pressed brick.
The Chapel Red bricks are the same bricks that have been used for over 100 years in some of Victoria’s most iconic and recognisable buildings. While they’re still made in the traditional fashion by selecting clays, moulding in presses and firing in kilns, the Nubrick range is now produced using newer technologies.
“For almost a century our presses have been moulding the outstanding bricks that make up this premium selection”, said Richard West, Marketing Manager for Austral Bricks. “These same brick presses are still at work today, creating authentic pressed bricks for yet another generation, using newer technologies and robotics. The Nubrik range is made in our recently constructed state of the art new factory at Wollert in Melbourne’s outer North, and the result is the same authentic material with the straightest edges, cleanest face and most consistent colour”.
