Luxaflex has announced a new range of window coverings that hang like curtains but operate with the functionality of blinds.

Veri Shades feature curved vanes made from a durable fabric and have been specially designed to provide advanced privacy, light filtering and air flow.

“When it comes to covering sliding doors and large windows in particular, vertical window coverings provide both a practical and stylish option” says Luxaflex Window Fashions national marketing manager Jenny Brown.

“Luxaflex Veri Shades fabric has no connecting bottom chains or weights, providing a safer home environment for children and pets. You can also conveniently walk through the individual chainless fabric vanes, whether they are opened or closed, for seamless indoor-outdoor living, while ensuring Veri Shades operate quietly.”

The shades feature the Australian designed and developed EDGE Vertical System and are available with either a heavy duty chain and cord system or a cordless solution. They are also available in two subtly different textured fabric ranges in six neutral and monochrome tones, with a colour-coordinated headrail to create a uniform appearance.

Additionally, the fabric of Veri Shades have dirt and dust resistant properties that make maintenance easy, while UV protection helps preserve the fabric and protect other home furnishings from fading.

“The new Luxaflex Veri Shades collection combines the versatility of a vertical blind with the elegant appeal of a soft window furnishing. The individually curved fabric vanes of Luxaflex Veri Shades feature an alternating light filtering and room darkening fabric panel, so homeowners can easily adjust the level of privacy and light to suit their requirements,” says Jenny.
